After launching his official application a day after his 30th birthday, Kohli held an interactive session to connect with his fans and answer their ‘polite’ inquiries. While answering the questions, the Team India captain snapped at a fan who said he felt Kohli is overrated and preferred English and Australian batsmen over him. The Delhi-born cricketer immediately told the fan that if the felt that way he should leave India and stay in those countries.
“He is an overrated batsman. Nothing seems special in his batting. I enjoy watching English and Australian batsman more than these Indians,” a fan wrote which irked the 30-year-old.

Virat responded to the comment and said, “I don’t think you should live in India. Go and live somewhere else. Why are you living in our country and loving other countries?” He added, “I don’t mind you not liking me. I don’t you should live in our country and like other’s thing. Get your priorities sorted.”
Noted commentator and cricket expert Harsha Bhogle also feels Kohli is living in a comfortable bubble.
“Virat Kohli’s statement is a reflection of the bubble that most famous people either slip into or are forced into. The voices within it are frequently those that they wish to hear. It is a comfortable bubble and that is why famous people must try hard to prevent it from forming,” Bhogle tweeted on Thursday.
“That is also why contrary opinions are frowned upon. Power and fame tend to attract those people who agree with you and reinforce your opinion because they benefit from proximity to fame and power,” read another tweet from Bhogle.
Kohli launched his mobile app on his 30th birthday on November 5.
