Indian Super League Season 5: India captain Virat Kohli has sent a video message for FC Goa fans and the team and has revealed the colour of the jersey for the fifth season as well. Kohli is not a part of team India as he has been rested for the Asia Cup by the BCCI, owing to his excessive workload over the past months. Kohli in his post wrote, “Season 5 is upon us already and I’m sure the Gaurs are as kicked about it as I am Let’s rise and roar together guys. Proud to be supporting my @FcGoaOfficial family. Let the games begin! Vamos Goa.”
He also thanked the FC Goa team for making him feel a part of the family. It is no secret that Kohli loves playing and following soccer. Kohli says the fans that orange for him represents fire and he feels the team has a lot of it. Kohli also went to reveal his favourite team in the FIFA World Cup and also predicted which team will win it. Well, that did not happen, but it is clear how close football is to his heart.
Earlier in the day, he took to Twitter and praised the film ‘Sui Dhaga’ featuring Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan. Meanwhile, India locks horns with Bangladesh in the Asia Cup finals. The match will see Rohit Sharma lead team India in the quest of defending the title successfully.
