Intercontinental Cup 2018 Finals: Indian Captain Sunil Chhetri’s Impact Works Again, All Tickets For Finals SOLD OUT

It is still not decided that who’s going to play whom in the Intercontinental Cup 2018 finale and yet the tickets got sold out. We guess it is the Indian captain Sunil Chhetri’s euphoria that is working wonders and drawing crowds to the Andheri Sports Complex. In fact, 24 hrs after India’s loss to New Zealand we saw that all the tickets were sold out on BookMyShow.

Meanwhile, New Zealand beat India by 2-1 in their 3rd and last league match of Intercontinental Cup 2018, on Thursday, June,7. These two teams are on the top of the table, though it has not been decided that are they really going to play again against each other or not. The scenario is India should make it to the finals, they are still at the top of the table.

Only one other team will go through, either new Zealand or Kenya. The Kiwis look to have the best chance to go through, as Kenya will have to beat Chinese Taipei  by a huge margin (tentatively a 8-0 or 9/0) to pip the Kiwis to the finals. That looks highly improbable at this point of time.

The last league match of Intercontinental Cup 2018 will be between Chinese Taipei and Kenya on Friday, June 8. Kenya is currently on the 3rd position of the points table.
