IPL 2014, CSK vs RCB: Top 5 players to watch out for in Match 53

Royal challengers Bangalore may have been eliminated and Chennai Super Kings qualified for playoffs but there is still a lot to play for. RCB will go out and look to end on a high not and enthral the home crowd while CSK look to secure second spot. As these two teams face each other we take a look at top five possible game changers in match number 53

David Hussey (Chennai Super Kings)

From commentary box to out in the middle Junior Hussey has quickly pounced upon the opportunity and performed marvelously. His finishing act with MS Dhoni in last game has well indicated that Hussey is in decent nick as he scored a brisk half-century.

MS Dhoni (Chennai Super Kings)

MS Dhoni is perhaps the best finisher in modern day cricket and has already finished couple of games in style for CSK. Unruffled most of the times Dhoni marshals his troops quite brilliantly and bats with calmness. Strike rate of 146.59 in 13 innings goes to show how quickly he finishes the game.

Virat Kohli (Royal Challengers Bangalore)

One of the main causes for RCB’s debacle has been Virat Kohli’s form. He has managed to score just 286 in 13 matches at an average of 23.83 very few for a batsman of his calibre. Now with no pressure on him we expect Kohli to smash CSK bowling and leave Bangalore crowd spellbound.

Yuvraj Singh ((Royal Challengers Bangalore)

IPL has not been that bad for Yuvraj Singh who struggled prior to the tournament in fact he displayed his skills once again as he hammered his opponents. Yuvraj has scored 351 runs at an average of 35.10 with three fifties to his credit.

Dark Horse: Ravindra Jadeja (Chennai Super Kings)

Ravindra Jadeja has done well as a bowler so far picking 16 wickets and maintained an economy of 7.89. Now CSK fans would want him to perform with bat as well. In limited opportunities batting at number six he has performed reasonably well but there is always a scope of improvement and he will look to contribute in batting as well.
