Sunrisers Hyderabad are through to the playoffs after beating Gujarat Lions by 8 wickets on Saturday at the Green Park stadium.
David Warner and Vijay Shankar put on a 133-run partnership to ensure SRH crossed the finishing line.
SRH now have 17 points from 14 games. They have won 8, lost 5 and a match was washed out due to rain.
SRH skipper David Warner continued his fine form after scoring a half-century.
In their chase of 155 runs, Sunrisers lost 2 wickets in quick succession as Shikhar Dhawan and Moises Henriques were back to the pavilion. Hyderabad were 25/2 in 3 overs.
Warner and Vijay Shankar put on a century partnership between them in their pursuit of Gujarat’s target. Shankar, just like captain, scored his half-century too. Warner remained unbeaten on 69 runs while Shankar stood not out at 63 runs.
Gujarat bowler Praveen Kumar took the only 2 wickets for his team.

Being put into bat first, Gujarat Lions had a start they were craving for throughout the tournament. Both openers, Dwayne Smith and Ishan Kishan hit their respective half-centuries. They put in a 111-runs opening partnership.
Smith hit 7 fours and 2 sixes before getting LBW by Rashid Khan while Kishan hit 5 fours and 4 sixes.
However, the rest of the Gujarat batsmen fell like a pack of cards. From 111 for no loss, Gujarat were all out for 154 runs.

Mohammed Siraj bowled a memorable spell of 4/32 in his 4 overs. Seven Gujarat batsmen were out without even reachinfg double figures while 4 failed to open their run account.
Mohammad Nabi also bowled an economical spell giving away only 17 runs in his 3 overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 2 wickets in the process too.
Rashid Khan also took 3 wickets in his 4 overs.
