Rising Pune Supergiant all-rounder Ben Stokes is proving his worth with scintillating performance, but he is equally good to leave his fans in splits off the field, by putting funny stuff on social media.
Recently, while traveling from New Delhi to Pune, following their match against Delhi Daredevils on Friday, Stokes uploaded an image of his Jet Airways boarding pass on Instagram. The reason of uploading the image was a typo error by a Jet Airways crew.
Stokes after boarding on the flight quickly noticed that the Jet Airways crew made a mistake while typing his name. They wrote ‘STROKES’ instead of ‘STOKES’. He put the image on Instagram for the whole world to see.
However, this is not the first time; the England all-rounder put something funny of social media. Earlier, he posted a photo of Jaydev Unadkat dressed as a magician and doing the ‘hat’ trick. The post read: “Great work today from the team…special mention to The Mango Man @jd_unadkat on his amazing bowling performance #hattrick #5er.”
Stokes has been instrumental’s in Rising Pune Supergiant’s campaign in IPL 10. Stokes scored 316 runs in 11 matches, with a hundred. He has also taken 12 wickets in 11 matches.
However, RPS will miss the service of Stokes in the play-offs as the match against KXIP on Sunday will be his last, owing to international duty. Stokes has to return to England to join his national side ahead of the Champions Trophy 2017.
