New Delhi: The auction of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 edition saw all the franchises making enormous bids to boost their squads with foreign and domestic players. The overseas players and uncapped players ruled the IPL 2018 auction. England’s Ben Stokes was once again the costliest player as the all-rounder was grabbed by Rajasthan Royals for whopping INR 12.50 crores, while fast bowler Jaydev Unadkat was the costliest Indian. Krunal Pandya became the costliest uncapped player.

Australian swashbuckling batsman Chris Lynn was the second top buy from the overseas players, followed by his compatriot Mitchell Starc as both the players were bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for INR 9.6 crore and 9.4 crore respectively. Meanwhile, KL Rahul and Manish Pandey were the second costliest Indians as they were sold to Kings XI Punjab and Sunrisers Hyderabad respectively for INR 11 crores each.
