IPL 2018: Fan Touches MS Dhoni’s Feet During Chennai And Rajasthan’s Match

During IPL match between CSK and RR, Dhoni’s fan touched his feet.

MS Dhoni who has retired from the test cricket has a huge fan following in the cricket world. Recently, during the Friday’s IPL 2018 match between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals, a fan of Dhoni’s ran in the middle of the match and touched his feet. The incident happened when the cricketer was entering the field after Suresh Raina’s wicket fell. Dhoni was surprised by the gesture and calmly took the fan aside and said a few words to him. The fan was mesmerized with the Dhoni’s gesture and thanked the heavens for the opportunity. The video of the fan touching Dhoni’s feet has surfaced online and became viral in no time.

In the Friday’s IPL match, Dhoni scored five runs of three balls. CSK won the match by 64 as Shane Watson scored a century and gave a good bowling effort. Watson slammed his second IPL century of the season as CSK moved to their new home after the 64-run win over Rajasthan Royals. The reason behind the movement is that police was unable to hold the crowd due to Cauvery protest and IPL contests in the city.

The franchise organized a special train ‘WhistlePodu Express’ to take the fans of the match to Pune free of cost including free food and accommodation. On the movement of the new home of CSK, Dhoni commented, “The people over here, they supported me when I played for Pune, so you could say that it was good that I could return the favor. Yes, it’s Chennai Super Kings and not Pune Super Kings, but by the end of the seventh game, we’ll see more yellow here.”
