IPL 2019: Ben Duckett has not played international cricket since 2016, but the Nottingham cricketer has been bagging headlines for making weird comments on great cricketers. Not long back, Ben Duckett called Virat Kohli a ‘joke’ and now his target is AB De Villiers. De Villiers bagged the man of the match against KXIP for his scintillating 44-ball 82. Duckett had called Kohli a ‘joke’ after which the Indian skipper slammed his 41st ODI hundred against Australia. Duckett’s comments come after ABD’s whirlwind 82 that powered RCB to a mammoth 202 which helped them eventually emerge victorious. Duckett’s post read, “AB De Villiers… now you sir, are a JOKE!”

Meanwhile, Navdeep Saini’s fabulous penultimate over kept Royal Challengers Bangalore afloat as they beat Kings XI Punjab by 17 runs in an Indian Premier League encounter.

I tried to stay calm in the last few overs. It is not easy always, the game is happening at a rapid pace. We know our home ground very well, it hasn’t been a great hunting ground for us to start with but we are turning things around now. And we are doing things well now. We are doing good as a team now. I still think 160 was a par score but it gets easier in the second innings. Our bowlers executed their plans to perfection in the end.
