IPL 2019: Ambati Rayudu Escapes a Stumping Scare During RCB v CSK, Twitter Blames Poor Umpiring | SEE POSTS
IPL 2019: When Rayudu's '3D' statement got viral!
IPL 2019: Was it out or not out? Fans feel Ambati Rayudu was out as his back foot was in the air when the bails were whipped off. Replays confirmed his foot was in the air, but it was so marginal that the third umpire gave the benefit of doubt to the batsman. The umpire did that at a crucial stage of the game when Rayudu was stitching a partnership with Dhoni and both were looking set to take the game deep. It was Chahal who beat Rayudu in flight and the back foot flirted inside the crease momentarily before he dragged it back. By the time the bails came off, Rayudu seemed to have managed to get his back foot grounded, just in the nick of time.
The incident has stirred a debate on Twitter where fans are once again questioning the umpiring standards.
