IPL 2019: Andre Russell was the toast of Kolkata after he emerged as the match-winner for KKR against SRH at the Eden Gardens. It was Russell’s 19-ball 49 that saw KKR go over the line. Needing 53 off 18 balls, Russell brought his power game to the table and there was no stopping him as he cleared the ropes with utmost ease. The Man of the Match also scalped a couple of wickets with the ball.

Meanwhile, ahead of the KXIP clash, Russell was seen practicing his bowling in the corridor of the team hotel. It was a narrow path where he was rolling his arms over with someone doing the job of the wicketkeeper.

Here is the video:

“@Russell12A said to me that he was so overwhelmed with the welcome fans gave him, that he wanted to cry. Then decided big boys don’t cry in public. @NitishRana_27 @robbieuthappa and @RealShubmanGill and the whole team plays for you Kolkata. Thank you for the Love,” Shah Rukh said on Twitter after Russell’s blitz.

Both KKR and KXIP are coming off victories which makes the encounter even more exciting.
