IPL 2019: Ashok Dinda faced massive heat on social media for not his own fault. Umesh Yadav conceded 24 runs off the last over against Chennai Super Kings before RCB squeezed a one-run win. It was a faux pas on behalf of RCB Twitter handle which posted a picture of Umesh Yadav and captioned it as, “Dinda academy? What’s that?” The tweet was soon taken down, but unnecessarily Dinda got trolled. The trolling was so brutal that his family members were also dragged into it.
RCB soon realised that it was a goof-up made on their end and then they posted again. “As some of you pointed out, the previous version of this tweet was in bad taste. However, for all of you who have relentlessly trolled this lad, he said #challengeAccepted and bowled his heart out! 4-0-36-3, 15 off his last two overs & 2 wickets in those! #PlayBold #RCBvKXIP,” RCB tweeted.
Dinda has finally lashed out at trolls and requested them to keep his family out of the filth.
“I have been silent all along but my previous outburst was primarily because some dumbheads dragged my daughter into it. Some passed lewd comments at my daughter, wife, mother, which isn’t acceptable. Yes, it obviously speaks about their filthy selves. But as a father I couldn’t have ignored. My family isn’t anyone’s business. DO NOT INVOLVE MY FAMILY. Anyways I would like to thank each and everyone of you for your immense support 🙏🙏🙏. I wish the best for you always,” his latest post read.
