IPL 2019: David Warner is cheeky! The pint-sized dynamo from Sunrisers Hyderabad gave us a glimpse of that. It was when Ashwin of Kings XI Punjab was into his delivery stride, Warner deliberately put his bat in the crease while Ashwin was about to bowl. It seemed like Warner indirectly trolled Ashwin with the gesture. Not long ago, Ashwin ‘mankaded’ Buttler which became a huge controversy. Now, it seems all the non-strikers have been warned by the team management to beware of it. Warner is in great form as he is the orange cap holder currently after the initial phase of the tournament. Meanwhile, Kings XI Punjab skipper R. Ashwin won the toss and decided to field first against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match here on Monday.
Punjab brought back Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Ankit Rajpoot to the fold while Sunrisers stand-in skipper Bhuvneshwar Kumar said they will go with the same team.
At the time of filing the copy, SRH was 99/3 in 16 overs. Hyderabad would be hoping for a big finish and Warner has to be the one to do it. He has just brought up his slowest ever IPL fifty off 49 balls. He has Manish Pandey for company.
