IPL 2019 Eliminator, DC Vs SRH: Rishabh Pant Overrules Captain Shreyas Iyer After Bizarre Deepak Hooda Run Out During Sunrisers Hederabad And Delhi Capitals | WATCH VIDEO
IPL 2019: Hyderabad fought hard but eventually Delhi emerged trumps.
IPL 2019 Eliminator, DC Vs SRH: It was strange to see young Rishabh Pant overruling his captain Shreyas Iyer after a bizarre runout of Deepak Hooda in the last over of the Sunrisers Hyderabad innings. It was a slower ball outside off from Keemo Paul, Hooda swung at it and missed, the umpire called it a wide as it was away from the guideline, Rashid, at the non-striker’s end, calls for a bye and Hooda responds, Pant throws at the bowler but Paul doesn’t get there, instead Hooda trips over the bowler and goes to ground. The ball goes past them to remove the bails. There was no need of a third umpire but Ravi asked Delhi captain Iyer if he wants to continue with the dismissal. He first gave Hooda an opportunity to bat on but was convinced otherwise by Pant he reversed his decision.
