IPL 2019: The helicopter shot has truly been mastered by Hardik Pandya. He gave fans a demo of the MS Dhoni-signature shot and that won the applause of Keiron Pollard who was in the dugout. Pandya played a breezy 15-ball 132 to help Mumbai Indians post a formidable 168. He stayed deep in his crease, and those steely wrists take the ball over the fence. It was a timely six in the last over off Rabada. Pandya was out of the very next ball. Having bowled a disciplined line and length through the innings, the DC bowlers lost the plot in the last five overs as the MI batsmen amassed 64 runs.

While Krunal played the anchor’s role in the 54-run partnership, Hardik once again showed why he is such a dangerous batsman in the death overs as he used the long handle to excellent effect to dig out the low full tosses and attempted yorkers, sending them over the ropes till Kagiso Rabada dismissed him off the third ball of the 20th over.

At the time of filing the copy, Delhi had started well and was 48/0 in six overs. Delhi Capitals need 121 runs in 84 balls. Shaw (13*) and Shikhar (35*) look good in the middle. This is also the first time DC has not lost a wicket in the powerplay in this IPL thus far.
