IPL 2019: MS Dhoni once again gave his fans a glimpse of his super alertness when off the 19th of the MI innings, Hardik was looking to pick a second run. Hardik steered a ball in the 19th over steers it wide of backward point and the batsmen in the middle seemed to have settled for a single. Dhoni fumbled and Hardik Pandya wanted a double, the veteran keeper quickly recovered and had he hit at the non-striker’s end, Pandya would have been in trouble had it hit. But that was the presence of mind of a whole new level.
Here is the video of the event:
Meanwhile, after winning the toss CSK opted to field first. The visitors have made one change in the team. Mohit Sharma has replaced Mitchell Santner in CSK, while Jason Behrendorff, Rahul Chahar replaced Mitchell McClenaghan and Mayank Markande in the Mumbai playing eleven. It seems the decision to field first has worked as of now as Mumbai have not been able to score big. Thanks to a final flourish, MI managed to amass a formidable 170/5 in 20 overs. Suryakumar Yadav was the star for MI as he top scored with 59 off 43 balls. At the time of filing the copy, CSK was in trouble as they had lost three early wickets for 33 runs in five overs.
