IPL 2019: Young Rishabh Pant is a gun-loving cricketer. He is young and not afraid of playing a prank or two on senior players. After Mumbai beat Delhi by 40 runs at Feroz Shah Kotla, Pant tried to trip Rohit while shaking hands. Rohit escaped from getting tripped but it was startling to see the audacity of young Pant. Meanwhile, Pant has missed out on getting picked in the preliminary World Cup squad. Pant has been kept as standby.

A Twitter user shared the video on Twitter and it read,”Pant trying to trip Rohit over, if he keeps doing such things in IPL then surely someone will get injured and Pant will get a chance in the World Cup Squad.”

With the win, Mumbai moved up to the second spot in the points table just behind table-toppers Chennai Super Kings. Delhi slipped to the third spot.

Speaking to the presser after the clash Delhi skipper Shreyas Iyer: “It is important for us to win the home games, especially on these wickets. We lost the toss as well and they outplayed us in all three departments. Credit to them.”

“We gave away 20 runs more on this wicket. There’s a lot of concern as far as the death overs are,” he said.

“It wasn’t easy to bat in the second innings. The ball was stopping. It was difficult for the new man in. The last three overs were game-changing,” he added.
