IPL 2019: The 12th edition of the Indian Premier League is on pinnacle and is keeping the cricket lovers hooked to the edge of their seats. Apart from power-hitting, smart bowling tricks and entertaining audience – the commentary plays a crucial role in T20 extravaganza as it boosts up the taste of the match and rose the interest of the viewers. Talking about Hindi Commentators, few names are always treated to listen and one of the names is Rawalpindi Express – Shoaib Akhtar. This prominent name is missing from the Star Sports commentary panel in this season.

Shoaib has a unique style of putting the facts and figures during the match. He inspects the game with his mega experiences in his own Hindustani accent which is usually engrossing. However, this is really disheartening for all cricket lovers that his name is not in the roster list and he is not a part of commentary box anymore.

Is the India-Pakistan issues a reason?

The relation between India and Pakistan is always in court. recently the stress rose up after the Pulwama attacks and 44 CRPF Jawans were martyred. The conditions were not in favor of both countries. Shoaib hasn’t arrived in India after that.

This all started from the tweet of analyst and commentator Aakash Chopra who put up a photo of Hindi commentary schedules for the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings. The lead and expert includes Irfan Pathan, Gautam Gambhir, Manvinder Bisla, Jatin Sapru, Atul Wasan.

Shoaib reacted and re-tweet after seeing this by saying ” My name is missing in that roster”! The legendary bowler also added the pensive face emoji at the end of his tweet.

The conversation between the two former cricketers happened during the Chennai Super Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad match. MS Dhoni decided to sit out of the game as a preventive measure after injuring his back in the game against the Kolkata Knight Riders. However, he was playing football before the match. Suresh Raina lead the defending champs in his absence.
