IPL 2019: It is no secret that Virat Kohli and Chris Gayle are good friends. Not long back, both the star cricketers shared the same dressing room at RCB, but now they have split, thanks to KXIP getting Gayle onboard. After RCB beat KXIP by 17 runs, Kohli and Gayle caught up and greeted each other in a way they always do. Then the cricketers hugged one another and proceeded. It was a moment that will bring a smile on the faces of their fans and that is brilliant.
Here is the video where you can see the two cricketers bond all-over-again:
AB De Villiers bagged the Man of the match for his blistering 44-ball 82 which powered RCB to a winning 202 runs total which eventually proved good enough for the home side to pull through.
“We won 4 out of the last 5 we have played, it could have been 5 out of 5. We are just looking to enjoy our cricket. Tonight was another example of having fun. The partnership of ABD and Stoinis changed the match for us. At one stage we thought 175 was good but AB and Marcus got us past 200. The way they played was the deciding factor. Our only focus was to play good as a team, we know that we are a good side, losing 6 in a row hurt all of us,” said Kohli at the post-match presentation after winning their fourth out of the last five.
Needing 30 off the last two, Saini (2/33), who is one of India’s fastest bowlers produced a hostile over in which he removed the dangerous David Miller and Pooran but more importantly gave away only three runs.
Saini bowled fast and into the body of the batsmen, who couldn’t really get going and his aggression became the defining factor in the end.
Defending 27 runs off the final over, Umesh Yadav (3/33) was better than the other night against CSK as he got a couple of wickets.
