IPL 2019: In India cricket is a religion and once again we got a glimpse of that. A Virat Kohli fan invaded security to get a closer look at his hero at Mohali during KXIP v RCB. The fan was lucky as he got to get close up with Kohli and hug him before the security came in and took the fan away. You may not have seen it on TV as an advertisement break between overs was on when the incident took place. It is a moment the fan will treasure all his life. As you can figure out it happened when Kohli was batting with AB De Villiers and he was at the non-striker’s end. RCB won their first match in the season thus far by eight wickets. AB De Villiers bagged the Man of the Match for his 59* off 38 balls. Kohli, on the other hand, scored 67 and more importantly stitched a crucial 85-run-stand for the third wicket with ABD.

“Most pleasing thing is coming for an interview at this time, and not immediately out of the field. Great feeling to get across the line. Have been unlucky in couple of games. Won’t say we’ve been unlucky in every game, but a couple of games we should’ve closed out before this. After so many setbacks, the guys had desire. That’s one word we spoke about. We thought 190 will be par and to restrict them to 170 was a great effort. To pick up 4 wickets in 8 overs in the middle for 60 runs was an outstanding effort. We knew Chris was going to bat deep. So many opportunities to get dot balls. We knew if we bowled decently to him, we might restrict them,” said Kohli at the post-match presentation.
