IPL 2019: It was a big blunder from Shardul Thakur stationed at the point during the ongoing match between MI and CSK. Krunal played the ball towards him and was looking to pick up a single but decided against it. Soon, Thakur fumbled and that allowed Krunal to get off-strike. To make things worse, it was a poor throw from the fielder to Dhoni as it was way out of reach for the CSK captain. Soon after it, he apologised to Dhoni saying ‘sorry’ with folded hands.
Hee is a funny video where you can see Thakur asking Dhoni for forgiveness.
Meanwhile, after winning the toss CSK opted to field first. The visitors have made one change in the team. Mohit Sharma has replaced Mitchell Santner in CSK, while Jason Behrendorff, Rahul Chahar replaced Mitchell McClenaghan and Mayank Markande in the Mumbai playing eleven. It seems the decision to field first has worked as of now as Mumbai have not been able to score big. At the time of filing the copy, MI was 125/4 in 18 overs. Suryakumar Yadav was the star for MI as he top scored with 59 off 43 balls. At the time of filing the copy, Thakur went wicketless as he gave away 37 runs.
