Gautam Gambhir motivated his team against RCB

The Indian Premier League auction is around the corner and franchises are gearing up to shell out enormous amounts of money for Indian and international players and Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Gautam Gambhir has made it clear that this year’s auction is just as important for Shah Rukh Khan owned franchisee.

With allrounder Andre Russell banned for a year, KKR would be keen to find a suitable replacement for them for the tenth season of the IPL.

Taking to Twitter, Gambhir also said that same as he revealed that the team management was looking at six foreign players as KKR only have three at the moment. The post read: “Looking forward to the upcoming IPL Auction. Would like to know your picks. #ChooseYourKnights”.

Gambhir also spoke about how the team is looking to try and win the tournament again this year and create history as no team has won the tournament thrice. KKR, Mumbai Indians and currently suspended Chennai Super Kings have won the cash-rich league twice.
