The biggest news is that Cameron Green has become the most expensive foreign player in IPL history, bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 25.20 crore. Matheesha Pathirana was also picked by KKR for Rs 18 crore. Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings spent big on two uncapped players, Prashant Veer and Kartik Sharma, signing both for Rs 14.2 crore each, the highest price ever for players without international experience.
