Mumbai: Indian Premier League (IPL) is now the second richest league in the world ahead of the English Premier League (EPL) and NBA. The TV and Digital media rights for IPL for the next five years, 2023-27, have reportedly been sold for Rs 43,050 crore. The valuation of each match has been valued at over Rs 100 crore.

This is an unprecedented achievement for a 15-year old league. The winners of Package A and Package B are different are will challenge each other for the combined rights.
