IPL 2019 Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Rajasthan Royals 2019: Cricket fans in the stadium went in a frenzy when they caught the glimpse of local boy – Rahul Dravid, who was found sitting in the stands during the Royal Challengers Bangalore versus Rajasthan Royals clash at M. Chinnaswamy on Tuesday. Along with his wife – Vijeta Pendharkar, Dravid was caught by the lensman sitting in the stands and indulged in a serious discussion with one of his friends.

The start of the IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals has been delayed to rain at the Chinnaswamy. Soon after the toss rain returned to the ground, prompting the groundsmen to bring the covers on to the pitch. The rain also played havoc in the media box as rainwater leaked through the roof. Dravid is presently serving as Team India’s overseas batting consultant, and also the head coach for the Under-19 and ‘A’ teams. Dravid scored nearly 25000 runs in international cricket.

However, getting a shortened game is still a possibility with the drainage system at Chinnaswamy being one of the best in India. The SubAir technology does not take more than 20 minutes to get the ground ready once the rain stops.

Earlier, Rajasthan captain Steve Smith won the toss and opted to bowl against Bangalore. The visitors have made one change, replacing Mahipal Lomror for Ashton Turner. RCB has dropped Shivam Dubey and brought in Pawan Negi and Kulwant Khejroliya.
