IPL 2019: He is not the most agile, but fast bowler Ishant Sharma stunned everyone by taking a one-handed catch during Delhi Capitals practice session at the Feroz Shah Kotla. The fast bowler took the catch during the catching drills. The ball was high and he seemed to have come in a tad bit too much but he was quick to adjust and come up with the catch. The ball stuck in his right-hand as he stuck it out. It is always heartwarming to see a fast bowler doing such things on-the-field as a fielder.

Ishant Sharma will be eyeing strong performances in the upcoming IPL to knock the selectors’ door ahead of the World Cup. Ishant has recently expressed his hopes of making it to the World Cup squad. Ishant will be making a comeback to IPL after missing out on the last two seasons. He has featured in 76 IPL games and picked 59 wickets at an economy of 8.17 with a best of five for 12. He would surely look to improve those numbers in the upcoming season.
