In what was a successful appearance in just his second ISS World Cup participation, the 29-year-old bagged India’s second Tokyo Olympic quota place in the men’s 10m air pistol event following Saurabh Chaudhary, who took the first in New Delhi earlier. Verma had previously sealed a place in the summit event of the Shooting World Cup after finishing in the forth position with the score of 585 (19x) in the qualification round of the 10m Air Pistol event.
