Kedar Jadhav Asks Which Football Team he Should Follow Now That Cristiano Ronaldo Has Left Real Madrid, Sam Billings Suggests Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Real Madrid for Juventus broke many hearts, some also went on to change their loyalties. Indian cricketer Kedar Jadhav who is a football fan and CR7 was his favourite player and hence Real Madrid was his favourite team is confused which team he should support now. He took to Twitter to post this and he also came up with a poll which had four options, Manchester United, Liverpool, Juventus and Chelsea. English cricketer and his Chennai Super Kings mate Sam Billings suggested him to follow Manchester United. Kedar’s post read, “Which Football team should I start following guys? P.S. Have been a Real Madrid fan for years thanks to @Cristiano.”

Sam Billings response:

Both the cricketers were a part of the Chennai Super Kings franchise in the cash-rich IPL. Making a comeback to IPL after a gap of two years, the CSK outfit clinched the title for the third time, becoming the most successful IPL team. Kedar, who was a part of it, missed the major part of the season as he picked up an injury in the early stages of the league.

Meanwhile, according to the selectors, Kedar Jadhav’s fitness history became a roadblock for his comeback.

“We did not pick Kedar because of his history of fitness. There have been occasions earlier when he has come back fit and then broke down, a case in point being the Asia Cup last month,” MSK Prasad told PTI.

“Actually, we were thinking that if India A won today, then Kedar would have got another match, which would have given us a fair assessment of his match fitness. May be we could have added him as an additional player (in Indian team) before the fourth ODI as the Deodhar final is on Saturday. Players need to understand that there is a process that we follow while selecting the team,” Prasad added.
