New Delhi: India’s middle-order batsman Kedar Jadhav was on Saturday ruled out of the three-match One-day International (ODI) series against Sri Lanka following a hamstring injury. India takes on Sri Lanka in the three-match ODI series starting on Sunday in Dharamshala. Jadhav suffered a hamstring injury during training at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium on Friday. “The All-India Senior Selection Committee has named Washington Sundar as the replacement for Kedar Jadhav for the ODI series against Sri Lanka,” the BCCI said in a statement. The men-in-blue will be led by Rohit Sharma after regular skipper Virat Kohli was given a break, keeping in mind the challenging South Africa tour, later this month.
Sundar was earlier named in the three-match T20I squad against Sri Lanka later this month.
