Former India skipper and Lieutenant Colonel Dhoni presented camouflaged caps to the Indian cricket team ahead of the 3rd ODI in honour of the CRPF jawans who lost their lives in the Pulwama terror attack. India all-rounder Kedar Jadhav saluted Dhoni when he presented Jadhav with the cap. This also in all probability is Dhoni last international game at Ranchi as the 37-year-old may call it a day after 2019 Cricket World Cup. The Men in Blue already have a 2-0 lead in the ongoing five-match ODI series and ideally, they would like to win at Ranchi and seal the series.
Meanwhile, Dhoni had a dreadful game with the bat in the Nagpur game where he registered a rare golden duck. But he made up for it and more with the gloves in his hand. He was sharp and so was his decision making. The 37-year-old is slated to be a huge part of the 2019 World Cup squad. He will bring his experience to the table and that would be invaluable.
As we speak, India has won the toss and opted to bowl first. The visitors have got off to a great start, they are 133/0 in 22 overs. Finch is on 68* and Khawaja is on 58*.
