A case has been registered against IPL cricketer Mohnish Mishra for kidnapping a girl from outside her tuition with the help of his friends. It is the woman who registered the case in
MP Nagar police station. There were five friends who apparently got together to commit the crime. The young woman has also accused Ashish and his friends tried to sexually molest the girl. Meanwhile, the IPL cricketer in question has labelled all allegations as false.
According to MP Nagar police, the 27-year-old girl living in Kamalnagar police station area is an accountant at a coaching institute located in MP Nagar. She reached the police station on Friday and filed a complaint. The young woman said that she has been looking at the account of Vikram Singh’s institute in MP Nagar for 6 years. He has been living in Ashish Singh’s house for the past 4 years. He is very close to Ashish.
Earlier, he was suspended on 15 May 2012 for a spot-fixing issue, after a local news channel, India TV reportedly accused him along with four other players based on a sting operation. After the corruption probe in June, Mishra was handed a one-year ban for bringing the game into disrepute while his Madhya Pradesh teammate TP Sudhindra was given a life ban after he was found guilty of the charges.
