Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Kings XI Punjab by 26 runs in match 33 of the Indian Premier League on Friday night. Set a massive target of 208 in Mohali, hosts Punjab could only manage 181 for 9 kin their 20 overs. There was only one man who got a big score. Australian Shaun Marsh played his part as he hit 84. Ashish Nehra and Siddarth Kaul meanwhile got three wickets each.

Earlier, put into bat, Hyderabad hammered 207 for 3 in their allotted 20 overs. Shikhar Dhawan top scored, hitting 77. There were also useful contributions from Kane Williamson (54 not out) and David Warner (51). As far as the bowling went, Glenn Maxwell bagged two wickets.

Now let us look at the IPL points table. Kolkata are at the top with 14 points. Mumbai are number two, having 12 points in the bag. Hyderabad are having 11 points and are at the number three position. Number four are Pune who have eight points. Gujarat and Punjab are number five and six respectively. Both have six points each. Number seven are Bangalore who have five points and Delhi are at the bottom, having just the four points.

There will be two matches played on Saturday. Pune host Bangalore in match one of the day. In the second match on Saturday, Gujarat will host Mumbai. Earlier on Friday, Kolkata beat Delhi by 7 wickets at the Eden Gardens.
