PV Sindhu, who beat Nozomi Okuhara and Akane Yamaguchi in the quarter-finals and semi-finals of the tournament respectively, will aim for nothing short of a win.
Marin too has been in excellent touch at the World Championships, having overcome the tricky He Bingjiao in the semifinal and absolutely outclassing Saina Nehwal in the last eight, winning the match in just 31 minutes.
It is the World No. 3 Indian who has an upper hand by the slightest of margins, enjoying a 6-5 lead over the seventh-ranked Spaniard. But all that will account for nothing when the two warriors step out on the court.
