This series top-scorer Cheteshwar Pujara missed out on what would have been a well-deserved double hundred, ending at 193 off 373 balls, adding 63 runs to his overnight score. Meanwhile, Pant became the first Indian wicketkeeper to claim a hundred Down Under with an unbeaten 159-run effort that came off 189 balls on the second day of the match.
A stop is brewing at the horizon is Sydney. Meanwhile, at SCG:
09.35: Wicket! Driven straight back to Kuldeep! Head’s thrown it away. Lots of loop from Kuldeep, Head advances to make it a full toss and bunts it back to Kuldeep. He reacts well, gets down low and takes the catch. All that hard work undone.
Australia have only once gone thro a 4 test series in Aus and not had a player score 100,which was 1882/3 v England.
Other series where no 100s were hit by an Australia player but not a 4 test series.
