Stumps- Day one of the second Test unarguably belongs to the visitors. After losing openers Mohammad Hafeez and Sami Aslam early on Pakistan did well to end day on 323 for three. Azhar Ali and Younis Khan were lucky to survive, as Bangladesh bowlers overstepped to give both the batsmen life. Both Azhar and Younis played sensibly after that and notched impressive tons. Younis (148) was dismissed after Bangladesh opted for second new ball. AT stumps Azhar Ali and Misbah ul Haq are both unbeaten on 127 and 9 respectively.

Younis Khan Out! Finally Bangladesh get a breakthrough and yes it is a legal delivery. Younis Khan departs after a fine knock. It was pitched short outside off-stump, Younis goes for the cut and hits it straight to Shuvagata Hom paced at gully. Younis Khan c Hom b Mohammad Shahid 148(195) [4s-11 6s-3]. With this, it is curtains on 250-run stand between Younis and Azhar Ali. It is Captain Misbah-ul-Haq, not the nightwatchman, who comes out to bat.

Live Score Pakistan 290/2 after 80 Overs: Azhar Ali and Younis Khan continue to frustrate Bangladesh as their stand for the third wicket is now worth 232 off 244 balls. Younis is looking aggressive of the two and is scoring at a strike rate close to 80. Azhar is on the defensive mode. The second new ball is available and Bangladesh have taken that. Will they strike as we enter last ten overs of the day.

Live Score Pakistan 249/2 after 72 Overs: Azhar Ali continues to impress in Test matches as he notches his eighth Test hundred. Azhar after getting the life early on did not look back and registers an impressive century. This is his eighth century in 40 Tests. Now both batsmen have reached their personal milestones as Pakistan look to end the day on high.

Live Score Pakistan 226/2 after 69 Overs: Younis Khan who was caught of a no-ball after the Tea break went on to smash his hundred, 29th in Test matches. The right-hander looked in subtle touch except that no-ball chance he offered. Younis, fittingly holds the record for most hundreds for Pakistan in Tests and now levels with Sir Don Bradman on most centuries in Tests list.

Live Score Pakistan 217/2 after 65 Overs: Soumya Sarkar straightaway after Tea break managed to unsettle Younis Khan, as the right-hander hit the ball straight to Shakib Al Hassan at covers, who took a good catch. Umpire quickly went up stairs and found Sarkar had overstepped. Another lucky break for Pakistan. Azhar Ali earlier got the reprieve as well. This is frustrating for Bangladesh, both the batsmen should have been back in the hut by now.

Live Score Pakistan 196/2 after 59 Overs: So at Tea break Pakistan sit comfortably thanks to the unbeaten 138-run stand between Azhar Ali and Younis Khan. Both batsmen look comfortable now, there is a chance for them to get to the magical three figure mark. Bangladesh’s search for breakthrough though continues. This session clearly belongs to Pakistan as they piled 126 runs without losing a wicket. Younis has been scoring at a healthy rate and has strike of around 74 right now.

Live Score Pakistan 169/2 after 53 Overs: The partnership between Azhar Ali and Younis Khan is now past hundred runs. These two have done well to put Pakistan in a safe position after openers fell cheaply. Both Azhar and Younis have not only rotated the strike but found boundaries as well. This session is turning out to be in favour of the visitors.

Live Score Pakistan 141/2 after 48 Overs: Both Azhar Ali and Younis Khan have notched their respective half-centuries. For Azhar it is his 20th Test fifty while Younis brought up his 30th. There is a big score in offering for both the batsmen now. Need to get their head down and continue playing the way they are. Bangladesh will look for a breakthrough and they desperately need that at the moment. So far, both Azhar and Younis have batted sensibly.

Live Score Pakistan 101/2 after 40 Overs: Pakistan have gone past hundred-run mark. The stand between Azhar Ali and Younis Khan is now worth 43 runs. Azhar is looking good and is using his feet well against the spinners. It has been a quiet period for Bangladesh as Pakistan look to build on after the lunch break.

Live Score Pakistan 86/2 after 35 Overs: Both Azhar Ali and Younis Khan looking to work their way around. Azhar is approaching yet another Test half-century. Bangladesh will be eyeing couple of wickets in this session. As far as Pakistan is concerned this partnership between Azhar and Younis is going to be a key one. Mushfiqur Rahim is shuffling his bowlers and has introduced all his bowlers.

Live Score Pakistan 75/2 after 30 Overs: With Younis Khan and Azhar Ali in the middle Pakistan will be looking to build after the lunch break. The pitch will relatively be easier for batting than the first session. Azhar has moved into 40s as he looks set to make use of the life he got earlier. Shahadat Hossain is back on the field for Bangladesh, but he has not bowled yet.

Live Score Pakistan 70/2 after 28 Overs: Lunch- So the first session of day 1 without any doubt belongs to home team. Bangladesh did well to dismiss both the Pakistan openers. Mohammad Hafeez was removed with a peach of a delivery from Mohammad Shahid and Sami Aslam after a small partnership with Azhar Ali threw his wicket away. Azhar is lucky to be out there still as Shahid overstepped when the batsman edged it to third slip. All in all Pakistan will now look to expertise of Younis Khan  to bail them out of this initial slump. Younis and Azhar have been batting together out there for over five overs.

Sami Aslam Out! Pakistan have now lost both the openers. The latest to be dismissed is left-handed Sami Aslam. The left-hander gifted his wicket to spinner Taijul Islam. Sami advanced down the ground and flicked the flighted delivery towards deep mid-wicket. Shahadat Hossain was placed there and he ran to his right to take the catch. Sami Aslam c Shahadat Hossain b T Islam 19(58) [4s-2]. Younis Khan walks out to bat.

Live Score Pakistan 48/1 after 15 Overs: Both Sami Aslam and Azhar Ali are looking solid out there in the middle. However, Azhar was lucky to survive after he was caught in the slips off a no-ball in 12th over. The right-hander went for the drive and got the thick outside edge. On-field umpires went upstairs and TV replays showed Mohammad Shahid overstepped, thus allowing Azhar to continue his innings. Both batsmen have hit couple of boundaries so far. Mushfiqur Rahim opted for some overs of spin from Taijul Islam as well, but could not found the success.

Live Score Pakistan 26/1 after 8 Overs: After the fall of Mohammad Hafeez, Pakistan look to build a partnership and see off the new ball. With tinge of grass on pitch it is pretty difficult time out there for batsmen. Sami Aslam and Azhar Ali will be keen to survive first hour of the game and get their eye in. Bangladesh will be worried by the injury of Shahadat Hossain. He could have worked in tandem with Mohammad Shahid as pitch looks fast bowling friendly.

Mohammad Hafeez Out! Early breakthrough for Bangladesh here. Mohammad Shahid has removed the dangerous and double centurion from last game Mohammad Hafeez. It came into the right-hander, looking to defend he eventually edged it to the wicketkeeper. This is the kind of start Bangladesh were hoping for. Hafeez c Rahim b Mohammad Shahid 8(16) [4s-1]. Azhar Ali is the new batsman in.

Mohammad Hafeez and Sami Aslam came out to bat for Pakistan. In the very first over, Bangladesh received a setback as fast bowler Shahadat Hossain walked out off the field with a troubled knee. He bowled just two balls and then Soumya Sarkar completed the overs with his medium pace. Remember Bangladesh are playing with just two front-line seamers and they will hoping Shahadat is back in the action soon.

Toss: Bangladesh have won the toss and have opted to field. With a tinge of grass on wicket Bangladesh captain opted to bowl first. Both teams have made one changes. Rubel Hossain misses out due to injury and Shahadat Hossain comes into the playing XI in his place. For Pakistan, fast bowler Imran Khan makes it to the side. It was Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayees’ superb record opening partnership that enabled the home team to secure a draw. Trailing by 296 runs, Bangladesh openers put on a mammoth 312-run opening stand to cut down the deficit. Eventually the Test match ended in a draw, but it was morale victory for Bangladesh. Overall, Bangladesh did well in batting department, but bowlers did struggle against the experienced batting line-up of Pakistan.

For Pakistan, despite Mohammad Hafeez’s superb double ton and substantial 1st innings lead bowlers failed to capitalise in 2nd innings, thus allowing Bangladesh batsmen to secure a draw. It was an ordinary bowling display by Pakistan bowling attack. Saeed Ajmal is likely to be back for this fixture and he will be keen to put up a match-winning show after his remodelled action. Also Read- Pakistan tour of Bangladesh schedule 2015: Time Table of Pak vs Ban 3 ODIs, 1 T20 & 2 Tests.
