Hello and welcome to the second round of 16 match of the European Championships, which will be played between Wales and Northern Ireland at the Parc des Princes. Both sides have been impressive in their own right. A tepid Russia in group B meant that Wales had every chance to progress to the next round. Northern Ireland on the other hand, were in a tough group and did very well to progress from the group stages. The win against highly-rated Ukraine was the highlight of the game. Wales have the top scorer of the tournament. Bale has been in terrific form, scoring three goals from three games. He may well turn out to be the difference between the two sides at the end of the game. Kyle Lafferty make his way back in this contest. Chris Coleman has turned his Welsh side into a vibrant, attacking one. Northern Ireland like to sit back and create chances on the counter. There are expectations aplenty from the Welsh; some people think they can reach the semi-finals.

Full Time Wales have beaten Northern Ireland and it was by the most slender margins you could find. NI fought hard in the first half but their intensity dropped in the second, which paved the way for Bale and Ramsey to impose themselves in the game.
89′ There is a little bit of pressure but not much as Northern Ireland have resigned to the end now. Wales are all but through to the quarter-final. There are four minutes of stoppage time to go
It was unfortunate but take nothing away from the quality of Gareth Bale’s pass, which was magnificent. The ball was sent into the danger zone and Robson-Kanu was lurking behind McCauley, who had very few options in front of him

63′ Still no action in front of goal. Wales have lost a big of steam and the best bit of play so far was a Bale freekick, which went whizzing past the left post.

40′ Welsh are slowly getting into the game and Northern Ireland are on the backfoot already. Ramsey and Bale are showing greater involvement in the game
20′ It’s been scrappy so far and Aaron Ramsey got the best chance of the game as he scored from a flick-on by Voles. It was adjudged offside. Meanwhile, Dallas let a terrific one fly from distance and the ball went over the bar.
Brexit talks are huge ahead of the game. It will be interesting to see how they match up. The national anthems are on.
