India started off the tournament in fine fashion by winning their first three matches against Scotland, Canada and Pakistan. But in their final pool game, lost to the Netherlands and in quarters went down to Malaysia 3-2. On Saturday, in the first classification match, India easily defeated Pakistan by 6-1. Ramandeep Singh, Talwinder Singh, Mandeep Singh, Harmanpreet Singh and Akashdeep Singh were the goal-scorers for India.
