Telugu Titans will be high on confidence as in the opening game of PKL 5, on Friday, Telugu Titans defeated debutants Tamil Thalaivas 32-27 at a capacity Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. Titans were looking in superb form and they dominated the game right from the starting. The skipper Rahul Chaudhari scored his first ‘Super Ten’ this season, while Nilesh Salunke picked up 9 points without being tackled. Other than their raiders, Titans’ defence was also upto the mark as they made some crucial tackles to bag the points.
On the other hand, Patna Pirates will play their first game of this season and they will be lead by Pardeep Narwal, who was in superb form in the last season and also steal the limelight for his stunning raids.
Given the squad strength of both the teams, the match is expected to be thrilling and it might turn out to be a neck to neck tie.
