87′ Off the Post! The ball is delivered by James Milner and Jesus Navas, who is outside the box takes a shot and it curls into the post and the ball is cleared by the Spurs defense.
84′ There is a free-kick at the edge of the box for Spurs and nothing comes of it. City counter with Yaya Toure and the ball is delivered into the box but Jesus tumbles.
80′ City are at ease here and Stefan Jovetic played a delightful through ball and it was cleared by the defence. They are dominating possession.
75′ Goal!! Another solo run and and another clinical finish. Its a long puntdown the ground, Aguero controls it, cuts sideways and rolls it in the bottom corner. What a player this fella is!
70‘ Pochettino makes a defensive substitution with Vertonghen stepping on the pitch and David Silva comes off to a thunderous applause by the partisan crowd.
67′ Goal!!!Aguero steps up and its into the bottom right corner. No mistake this time as he completes his hat-trick in what was been a phenomenal outing for the Argentine. With one man down, City are in command now.
66′ Would you believe it, its another Penalty! Fedrico Fazio is pulls back Aguero in the box and is red carded too.
64′ Yet another brilliant save by Hart! Spurs are having an excellent spell and Danny Rose’s powerful run and through ball is met by Soldado, who strikes a powerful left-foot shot and the England No1 stretches and keeps the lead intact.
Penalty!!! Roberto Soldado is tripped and its a dubious call as it looked like it was outside the box. Soldado steps up and drives it low in the bottom corner and its brilliantly saved by Joe Hart. The ball is parried away as the Hart chant goes around the ground.
58′ Frantic football from both ends but City see yet another chance go begging. Jesus Navas rolls a delightful through ball to David Silva and the Spaniard tries to tuck the ball in the right hand side corner but it ends up being a low cross. Aguero dives and misses.
56′ City are shifting the ball from wing to wing and Spurs are threatening and Danny Rose gave an excellent cross into the box and the ball went out of play as none of the attackers could get on the end of it.
50′ Manchester City have started with great intensity in the second half and they have made a couple of surges into the box while Tottenham are trying to hit on the counter.

45′: We had two minutes of added time and Milner tries to curl from 25 yards out but Lloris does well to get his body behind it and collect the ball. No more goals follow as the referee blows the whistle for a break.
44′: Attempt – Man City – Saved by Lloris: Milner steals the ball from Capoue with a dangerous sliding tackle which the referee finds it fair enough for the game to continue. Aguero finds Navas on the right whose shot is parried by Lloris for a corner and the attack eventually fizzles out for a goal-kick.
41′: Attempt – Tottenham Hotspur – SAVED by Hart: Spurs launch an attack after Soldado controls a clearance well and sends Eriksen down the right. The Dane does well to beat Clichy and tries to set up Soldado, whose shot is blocked and tamely cleared by Kompany. The ball only travels just outside the box where Mason volleys and forces Hart to dive to his left and prevent an equaliser. The visitors are upping the ante before half-time.
40′: Attempt – On-target – Tottenham Hotspur: Eriksen tries his luck from 30 yards out but the shot is parried away by Hart for a corner. Nothing comes off it and the ball is cleared away.
38′: Yellow card – Tottenham Hotspur: Eric Dier joins Mason among the list of offenders after tugging Jesus Navas’ shirt and bringing him down near the half-way line. Cynical foul to say the least.
33′: Attempt- Man City – Saved by Lloris: Silva with a long clearance sends Aguero racing towards goal. The Argentinean does well to beat Kaboul but the shot is saved well by Lloris. Meanwhile, Ryan Mason gets the first yellow card of the match after a needless foul on Fernandinho.
32′: PENALTY – MAN CITY: The hosts have another penalty after David Silva is brought down by Yuones Kaboul. Aguero is over it and this time he cheekily tries to go down the middle but Lloris saves it. The ball flies straight back to the Argentinean but his acrobatic attempt goes over Spurs’ goal. The scoreline remains the same so far.
30′: Attempt- off target – Tottenham: Spurs win a free-kick 30-yards away from Man City goal after Kompany hauls down Nacer Chadli. Eriksen takes it but it flies over Hart’s goal.
27′: Substitution: Bad news for Man City as Frank Lampard is down injured in the centre-circle after he stretches to clear the ball with a challenge coming from Mason. He appears to have overstretched his thigh and is replaced by Fernandinho.
23′: Attempt – On-target – Man City: Milner exchanges a quick 1-2 with Sagna and he crosses the ball for Aguero, who is is already on a hat-trick. The Argentinean does well to keep it on on target but it is tame and straight at Lloris.
19′: PENALTY – Manchester City: The Citizens have a penalty as Erik Lamela is adjudged to have brought down Frank Lampard as he looked to race beyond the Spurs defence. Referee John Moss doesn’t hesitate and points straight to the spot. Sergio Aguero makes no mistake from the spot and sends Lloris the wrong way. Man City are back into the lead.
15′: GOAL – Tottenham Hotspur – CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN: Instant reaction from the visitors as Ryan Mason ROBS the ball off Fernando. Soldado and Erisken race towards goal and the former sets up his 22-year-old teammate to restore parity for the north London club.
13′: GOAL – Manchester City – SERGIO AGUERO: Sagna races towards the middle of the field with the ball from the right and feeds it to Milner. The England midfielder sets up the Argentinean striker, who takes a touch to beat Dier and slot the ball past Lloris.
8′: Attempt on-target – Tottenham Hotspur – SAVED by Joe Hart: Neat buildup play from Spurs. Lamela dances through Man City defence and plays it to Eriksen, who then spots Mason’s run inside the box. The 23-year-old strikes but Hart spreads himself well and prevents the visitors from taking the lead. The ball stays inside the field and Eriksen now gets it on the right. The Dane shoots but the ball takes a slight deflection and fly towards a corner.
1′: Manchester City get us underway and Sergio Aguero looks to try and conjure something from the left but the ball rolls to Hugo Lloris.

Pochettino has decided to bench Adebayor and is backing Soldado to open his scoring in the Premier League this season. Yaya Toure and Fernando Reges are on the bench for the hosts while Federico Fazio makes his first start in the EPL for the north London club. Eric Dier will play at right back while Mason partners Capoue in defensive midfield role.
