Manchester City play hosts to Tottenham Hotspur on matchday eight of the Barclays Premier League 2014-15 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening. The kick-off is set for 5:15 pm IST (12:45 pm BST, 11:45 am GMT) and live telecast will be on Star Sports 4 and Star Sports HD 1. The reigning champions currently stand second in the league table with 14 points after playing seven matches, five points behind league leaders Chelsea. Manuel Pellegrini’s men humiliated the north London club home and away last campaign with 6-0 and 5-1 victories respectively. The Chilean will be hoping for much of the same from his players as Man City look to close the gap on the league leaders.

Meanwhile, Spurs come into this game having defeated Southampton 1-0 courtesy of a 40^th minute strike from Christian Eriksen at White Hart Lane earlier this month. Mauricio Pochettino’s side are currently sixth in the table with 11 points and the Argentinean manager will be desperate for his side to stun the hosts as he intends to guide his side to secure a top four berth this season.
