It is a super Saturday and today in EPL, Manchester United will square off against Arsenal. Now, coming back to the teams, Manchester United form in this season is definitely not up to the mark and their journey till now was full of hiccups. Manchester United are currently eight points behind leaders Liverpool and six adrift of fourth-placed Arsenal on points table, and since this will be the first match of the weekend, it is a perfect opportunity for United to make a statement. Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss his first league game of the season as the striker is suspended following his fifth caution of the season, which came against Swansea at the beginning of November. Wayne Rooney is back in contention after a minor knee injury and Ander Herrera is now eligible to play after a serving a one-match ban at Swansea before the international break.
On the other hand, Arsenal are in excellent form and they have not lost in 16 games in all competitions after losing to Liverpool on the opening day of EPL season 2016-17. Gunners are currently facing some injury crisis as Hector Bellerin has been ruled out for four weeks, while Santi Cazorla will again miss because of an Achilles injury. Alexis Sanchez is doubtful of playing, owing to his exertions for Chile despite carrying a hamstring problem, which leaves Wenger to select a starting XI most likely without three of his key players.
