Bengaluru: Lucknow Super Giants pacer Mayank Yadav is having an IPL maiden season to remember. After picking up three wickets against Punjab Kings a few days back and announcing his arrival, the 21-year-old tearaway pacer came up with the goods against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Thursday at the M. Chinnaswamy. Chasing 182 to win, the RCB got off to a good start against LSG. But then, there was calamity as the openers departed in quick succession.
Then Mayank came into the attack and picked up Glenn Maxwell, but it was his pacey 153 kmph ball to clean bowl Cameron Green that is being loved by fans. It was a back-of-a-length ball and came back in sharply at pace. And once it beat the defense of Green, the ball went on to rattle the stumps. Here is the video of the dismissal.

“He has also got a good wrist position, which can help him swing the red ball as well away from the batsman… Feel we’ll see him making his debut for India in the coming months,” former English pacer Stuart Broad recently told about Mayank.
