Meet WWE champion Roman Reigns

The 30-year-old WWE champion will be seen slugging it out in New Delhi.

He was once an american football player. But little would have Roman Reigns guessed then that he would go on to dominate a sporting entertainment show in WWE. A two-time WWE heavyweight champion, Reigns was named the Superstar of the Year in 2014. This after getting the award for the Breakthrough of the Year a year earlier. Such has been his impact that in a short time, Reigns has stamped his authority like few others, going on to be the dominating star of the entertainment show.

He was not slated to perform in India earlier. But the recent news that sees him as a replacement to the trip to India will surely warm many hearts.

How Reigns goes about his business, only time will tell, but there is no doubt that he has a huge fan following, especially among young boys, who swear by his moves in the ring. We wish the champion all the best and hope that he puts his best foot forward.

While he may not be as popular as Hulk Hogan or Steve Austin from the days of old, he is fast building an all-new fan following. A trip to WWE-mad India may only help him raise his profile further, or so we think. Cannot wait for the show to get started.
