Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif has become a subject of troll on social media after he uploaded a picture of him and his son playing chess on Facebook.
Kaif posted an image on his official Facebook account on Sunday captioned “Shatranjke Khiladi”.
But sharing the adorable photo with his son didn’t go well with his many facebook users as he had to face barrage of religious criticism. They did it because they had a problem with chess.
According to them, as per Islamic laws, playing chess is Haraam and Islam fanatics poured a barrage of comments schooling the cricketer about what is permitted in Islam and what is not!
However, this is not the first time Kaif endured criticism. Earlier, for practicing yoga he was heavily trolled on twitter.
On Social media, which empowered masses, but amred many people to harass celebrities on social media. This is not the first time social media users schooled a Muslim cricketer.
Recently, Indian all-rounder, Irfan Pathan was criticised for posting ‘un-Islamic’ image with his wife. In the same manner, Mohammed Shami received dozens of abusive comments from the Muslim community over a dress worn by his wife in a photograph.
