In a podcast, Mishra clarified that he never blamed Dhoni, but instead credited him for his return to international cricket.

Amit Mishra’s response to allegations against Dhoni

Speaking on the MensXP YouTube channel, Amit Mishra said that it is completely wrong to say that his career would have been better if Dhoni hadn’t been the captain. According to him, without Dhoni, he probably wouldn’t have even got the opportunity to play for Team India.
