India vs Australia 2019: Former India captain MS Dhoni came in at a stage when the team was reeling and even before he could get his eye in, he had tailenders at the other end. The 37-year-old totally changed gears and farmed the strike, refusing to take singles or even look for a second. He remained unbeaten on 29 off 37 balls as the Men in Blue posted 126 in their stipulated 20 overs. MS Dhoni’s strike rate of 78.37 is the second-lowest by an India batsman in a T20I innings of 35+ balls. Twitter users were not impressed with Dhoni’s performance and the familiar chants of ‘Dhoni should retire’ started doing the rounds on social media after the innings.
