A daughter is a princess of her father and little Ziva is no different. Indian ODI and T20 skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one dotting father of his one-year-old baby girl. This cute snap of Dhoni and Ziva is from the star-studded party hosted by RIL Chairman Mukesh and Nita Ambani in December last year. The glittering bash was thrown for newlywed couples Harbhajan Singh-Geeta Basra and Rohit Sharma-Ritika Sajdeh. Dhoni who attended the party with his wife Sakshi stole limelight with his daughter Ziva.
MSD fans will rejoice in delight as they see their favourite cricketer playing the role of a dutiful father so well. What makes the recently shared photograph by Dhoni is Ziva’s ever-like doll appearance carried in arms of her dapper looking dad. The toddler born on February 6 celebrated her first birthday recently with blessings coming from all quarters.
On the career front, Dhoni led Team India to 2-1 victory over Sri Lanka in three-match Twenty20 series. He also attended the launch of the jersey of his new IPL team Rising Pune Supergiants in New Delhi. The usually calm and composed cricketer was seen getting emotional as he spoke about his former franchise Chennai Super Kings. On being asked about his feelings on moving to new team after spending eight years with CSK, Dhoni said, ‘I would be lying if I say I have moved on’. But we hope all good things come Dhoni’s way.
