Former India skipper MS Dhoni was at it again, this time he was subtly roasting Kuldeep Yadav while Yuzvendra Chahal was about to bowl. The incident took place during the final ODI against New Zealand which India won. The hilarious convo took place when Jimmy Neesham was at the wicket. Dhoni told Kuldeep Yadav that he creates more fuss than Muralitharan ever did while playing international cricket. Comparing his younger teammate with the legendary Muttiah Muralitharan, Dhoni said: “Fekne de isko, Muralitharan se jyada fielding me usko fark padta hai (Let him bowl, he has more problems with the fielding than Muralitharan)”.

Here is the video:

Poor Kuldeep was in as a substitute, yet got trolled. The chinaman laughed it off as he saw the funnier side of things. Chahal, in the meanwhile, was the highest wicket-taker for India in the match as he scalped three big Kiwi batsmen. India won the match by 35 runs and in the process clinched the five-match series 4-1. Chahal and Kuldeep have combined well in the ODI series and have been a major reason of India’s recent success in the 50-overs format.

Both the teams will now lock horns in the 3-match T20I series. The first game is scheduled to be played on Wednesday (February 6) at Westpac Stadium, Wellington. India will start favourites despite Kohli not being there as he has been rested along with Jasprit Bumrah. Rohit Sharma would be leading the side against the Kiwis, who will also miss the services of Martin Guptill.
