India vs Australia 1st T20I: Men in Blue is ready to host Australia in the 1st T20I at Vizag and as the team looks to finalise its World Cup squad. Harsha Bhogle picks his squad for the opener and feels Rohit, Dhoni, and Chahal should play only if the Team is looking to give the established lot more game time, or else they do not find a spot in the team. “India’s team today will be an outcome of what they seek in this game. If the idea is to give established players more game time, they will play Rohit, Dhoni and Chahal. If the idea is to give fringe players more opportunity, those three needn’t play,” Harsha’s first post read.

His next post read, “I believe there is a greater need of opportunity for Pant, Karthik, Rahul, Vijay Shankar, even Markande. So how does this look to you? Dhawan, Rahul, Kohli, Pant, Karthik, Shankar, K Pandya, Markande, Yadav, Kaul and Bumrah.”

He also suggested the Australian squad.

“And maybe this team for Australia today? Finch, Short, Handscomb, Maxwell, Turner, Stoinis, Carey, Cummins, J Richardson, Zampa, Behrendorff? Don’t know if they see Khawaja as a T20 player. He could be an option for Turner and bat at no.3,” his post read.
