International Women’s Day: Former India captain MS Dhoni is one of the most gentle cricketers in the circuit. Ahead of his final ODI at Ranchi, Dhoni came up with a special message for the women fraternity on International Women’s Day, where he spoke about how women should be respected and protected. He also went on to highlight their rights and why aborting them is a crime. The 37-year-old also mentioned that the girl should be cherished by her father. She should be valued for everything she brings to the world. Dhoni mentions she should be loved for the smile. She should also be encouraged to work hard and follow her dreams.
Meanwhile, Dhoni is playing probably his last international game in his hometown Ranchi.
Ever since Dhoni arrived in his city of Ranchi there was a huge buzz around the place. He not only gave his mates a ride on his hummer but also hosted the entire team for dinner at his Ranchi farmhouse.
Meanwhile, ahead of the 3rd One Day International against Australia, skipper Virat Kohli said that the Indian cricket team will be dedicating the match fees to the Pulwama martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the recent terror attack in Kashmir. In honour of the Armed forces, all the members of Team India will also don camouflage caps.
